  • Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the Service, including conversation counts, session duration, and feature usage.
  • Device Information: We may collect device type, operating system, and browser type for optimization purposes.
  • Anonymous Usage: For users who practice without an account, we track daily conversation counts locally on your device to enforce free-tier limits.

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our AI conversation practice Service
  • Process your subscription payments and manage your account

4. AI and Conversation Processing

Toad Talk™ uses OpenAI's API to power our AI conversation partners. When you practice a conversation:

  • Your messages are sent to OpenAI's servers for processing
  • Conversations are processed in real-time and are subject to OpenAI's data usage policies
  • We do not use your conversations to train AI models
  • Premium users' conversation history is stored securely in our database for review purposes
  • Anonymous and free-tier users' conversations are not stored after the session ends

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We work with third-party services including Stripe (payments), OpenAI (AI processing), and Supabase (database hosting).
